Get into the Night Atmosphere around Great Cumberland Place

While coming to see the Grand Ballroom at the Montcalm London hotel, there is plenty of options for nightlife near Great Cumberland Place.

 Chakana:

A late night hot spot for many celebrities such as: David Beckham, One Direction, and even Gordon Ramsay, Chakana is an Inca-inspired lounge bar. Run by Nick House, the entrepreneur behind other famous London nightclubs like Mahiki and Whisky Mist, Chakana has been open since the end of 2013. Resident DJ Andrew Dax spins for the celebrity filled night club and Argentinean curator Augusto Rossillo has drenched the club in Inca theme décor. From the heavy wood, rich gold and red, and snakeskin banquettes to the themed drink menu with rare tequilas and dark rums, Chakana is certainly a great place for a night out.

London Bar

The American Bar at the Beaumont:

Like the rest of The Beaumont hotel, the American Bar is set with an Art Deco design. While walking in, you will feel as if Ernest Hemingway himself would have felt at home in this bar. With its timber-paneled room and leather-lined booths that make you want to sink in and sip a cocktail. The bar is stocked with American Whiskey, as well as French 75s and Kir Royals. The bar food menu is also something to look out for with Eggs Benedict, omelettes, lobster, and even cheesecake for dessert. The bar is open to non-residents, but if hotel guests want privacy, they have the option of their own private Club Room lounge and bar. Also check out Private Events in London for more venues for that cater to your occasion.

The Windsor Castle:

One of the oldest and most patriotic pubs in London, the Windsor Castle is a perfect representation of the old-fashioned English culture. On first approaching the pub, a model solider stands to attention in a full-sized sentry box, guarding the entrance. The pub is decorated with glass cabinets filled with guns, coins, cameos, photos, and decorative plates all dedicated to the Windsor Royal Family. A slew of English celebrities frequent this pub such as: comedian Joe Brown, cricketer Mike Gatting, actor Denis Waterman, and English footballer Bobby Moore. The international club for men, called the Handlebar Club, founded in 1947, meets here to this day. If you are looking for a eccentric, crazy, and traditional English pub, this is the place. Also, their English cuisine is fantastic and is served from 6pm to 10pm daily.

There are many more venues just right around the corner from Great Cumberland Place. It can be great place to bar hop and explore for that perfect night out.
